Austrian writer Karl Karus once said: "Tyranny can guarantee its slaves three freedoms: expressing opinions without knowledge, enjoying entertainment without art, and achieving orgasm without love." Hong Kong people live in this "virtual" Decades of freedom"? Everyone knows that red capital has eroded the whole of Hong Kong, textbooks are full of lies, and freedom and democracy have changed with bulldozers and urban optimization projects. Those well-known names were thrown into prison one by one, and more and more unsung heroes fell into injustice. But what are they for? Another prisoner said at trial that she would not accept any bail conditions restricting her freedom of speech. Why? Because she didn't want to go from one cell to another! No one likes to be imprisoned and be entangled by the evil, but when the city they are in has become a giant prison, and the price of tearing down the wall is to enter a prison in the true sense, they chose to sacrifice without any hesitation. A way of freedom of movement, awakening the freedom of thought for millions of people. Is this "criminal" really guilty?
The walls are still strong, and recovery is still in the distance, but it is never a matter of time when the walls are torn down. They are prisoners, and we are all prisoners. The most important thing is to recognize the fact that he has long lost his freedom, and then with that humiliation and unwillingness, untie the handcuffs and rush out of the prison. Because kidnappers can imprison your body, but they can't imprison your soul. History is written by the victors, and time is the fairest court. Only by victory can we truly escape the prisoner's dilemma and regain our freedom.
